Steve S Consistency Creates Confidence

Time to pull a win from the vault! Steve S is a medical professional on the A-Team. He runs teams of providers to keep the level of care high, and there's almost always a fire to put out.

It took a bit to get him to take great care of himself, but he CRUSHED IT! He's fitter

What positive results have you achieved from working with your nutrition coach at Pittsburgh FIT?
One of the biggest changes has been my mindset around food. I have a much better understanding of how to stop labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” and instead focus on how they fit into my overall goals.

I’ve also learned that real progress comes from making intentional changes—not extreme ones. Finding better alternatives and building a more balanced approach has made everything feel more sustainable and realistic for my lifestyle.

What do you do to stay on track with your nutrition?
Routine has been a huge part of my success. I keep some meals consistent throughout the week, which helps take the guesswork out of my day.

Tracking my meals and sending pictures has also made a big difference. It helps me stay mindful and accountable, and it encourages me to think more intentionally about my choices.

What do you love about the nutrition program at Pittsburgh FIT?
I really value having someone in my corner who can see the bigger picture. It’s not just about what I’m doing day-to-day; it’s about recognizing how far I’ve come and where I’m going.

I also appreciate being able to talk through both my wins and the areas I can improve. Having that kind of support and perspective makes this journey feel a lot more manageable.
