What the Heck is HYROX? (And Why You Should Try It for Free)”

Let's talk about this event! We’ve got something exciting coming up—and even if you’ve never heard of HYROX before, trust us, you're going to want in on this.

On Saturday, August 16th, we’re inviting our members and the Pittsburgh community to join us for a FREE Half-HYROX Workout at Pittsburgh FIT. That’s right—no cost, no experience needed, and no pressure. Just a fun, friendly event to challenge yourself and sweat it out together before summer winds down.

So… what exactly is HYROX?

HYROX is an endurance-based fitness competition that combines cardio and functional strength in a unique way. Think: movement stations like rowing, sled pushes, and wall balls—with a 1-kilometer run between each one. It’s gritty, it’s energizing, and yes—it’s scalable for all fitness levels. You can tackle it solo, with a partner, or even in a relay group!

And don’t worry—Coach Grace will be there doing movement demos and helping everyone feel confident and prepared. Whether you're curious, competitive, or somewhere in between, this event is for you.
