Workout of the Day - Wallballs and Jump Rop

🏋️ Sweat it Out: In this intense workout, the goal is to push your limits and keep up the intensity, not just with the conditioning, but on the bench too! Whether you're aiming for some heavy quads or striving for unbroken wallballs, you'll be in for a fun, sweaty, shaky-arms type of day.

💡 Understanding the Drill: The conditioning workout for today is a sprint, meaning you'll be going all out from start to finish. Our RPE or Rate of Perceived Exertion today is a 9! That's about as fast as it gets. This means we want you to push, go faster, and hold on for 1 or 2 more reps every chance you get. And there's no need for a chalk break today!

🤸 Performance vs. Fitness: If you're new to fitness, don't worry if you're not hitting the same scores as the vets. 5 to 6 rounds is a perfectly acceptable job-well-done kind of score to walk away from the gym happy. But if you are signed up for the Synchro de Mayo, you'll want to push for 7 rounds. That means getting into the set of 35! If you finish 8 rounds today (or the round of 40 wallballs), Greg will share his Sour Patch Kids with you for a month!

⏱️ Workout Wisdom: Honestly, there isn't too much in the way of tips and tricks for today. Don't put the wallball down until you finish the set. You can do it. And trust me, I know every single one of you and how capable you all are <3 This is a good day to grab a heavier wallball and learn that you're tougher than you think you are!
