Charlotte - From Middle School Pool to Power

When Charlotte, a middle school student and synchronized swimmer, told her mom she wanted to do something extra to improve her performance, it wasn’t just impressive—it was mature beyond her years. She recognized that to move up a level in her sport, she couldn’t just rely on practice in the pool. She needed to be a more well-rounded athlete.

That’s when she came to Pittsburgh FIT with a clear goal: to get stronger, build stability, and master proper movement patterns. She started training once a week with Coach Grace, following a personalized strength program designed to support her unique goals.

Through full-body workouts, weekly progress tests, and guidance from a coach who believed in her, Charlotte began to transform. Her core strength skyrocketed—tripling her hollow hold time from 20 seconds to a full minute. She built balance, added weight to her lifts, and gained the physical and mental strength to pass her fitness test.

But more than that, Charlotte discovered a love for movement and a confidence in her abilities that will carry her far—both in and out of the water.
