This past Saturday, the energy at Pittsburgh FIT was electric as we hosted our Games Day Fundraiser in support of PAAR (Pittsburgh Action Against Rape)—and wow, what a morning it was!
We had 34 awesome participants, forming 17 spirited teams, led by the dynamic duo of Coach Corey and Coach Erika. The workouts were approachable, a little spicy (in a good way), and designed to bring people together for a great cause—and it absolutely worked.
Together, we raised $500 for PAAR, an organization doing incredibly important work for survivors of sexual violence in our community. We were honored to have a representative from PAAR join us—not just to share more about the mission, but to suit up and compete right alongside our members. Talk about leading by example!
And let’s not forget the soundtrack to our Saturday—Coach Eddie made his DJ debut, keeping the vibes high and the transitions smooth with a playlist that had everyone smiling between sets.
Whether you were sweating it out on the floor, cheering from the sidelines, or just stopping by to support, we’re grateful to each and every one of you who made the morning so special. Events like this remind us just how powerful fitness + community can be.
Stay tuned—more fun is coming your way soon, and we can’t wait to keep showing up with purpose (and a few good dance moves) together.
