Zach's Transformation

Not only does Zach crush it at the gym 3 days a week, but he also moonlights as a cameraman for wrestling events and is a genuinely kind soul with the most incredible “yes I can” attitude.

Zach joined the Pittsburgh FIT community in 2019 ready to create a regular gym routine and feel good in his body. He has a background of exercise science, but like many of us, self-application was the most difficult.

From day one, he had the goal to lose body fat and build muscle and strength. Today, he works out 3-4x per week for an hour in group fitness classes and aims to prioritize his steps every day.

Additionally, he works with one of PGHFIT’s nutrition coaches, Heather Benek to develop sustainable nutrition practices.

Zach now prioritizes intermittent fasting, protein intake, and glucose-stabilizing practices to support insulin sensitivity. Over the past months, Zach is down over 24lbs of body fat and down two points in his visceral fat level which is A BIG DEAL for preventable disease!

He feels more confident now and is an active part of the Pittsburgh FIT community. He even spontaneously signed up for the 2024 Pittsburgh Marathon, relay division!

After making significant progress towards his starting goal it was time to re-prioritize. He has a consistent plan for body composition change so it was time to level up! His updated goals are to reduce pains and aches, increase mobility. and focus on building strength. Soon enough, he'll be saying goodbye to another 10 lbs of body fat.

Zach is continuing to live life on his terms and feel great in his body!
